Moving of all Kores European production to CR successfully completed. KORES Quality goes from the Czech Republic to the whole world.

Kores, a leading manufacturer of office and school products, has successfully completed the transfer of the European production to the Czech Republic. Kores has now two production centers – one in Mexico and the second in Strmilov, Czech Republic. In Czech Republic Kores is producing now glue sticks, stamping products, correction products, tape dispenser and liquid glues. The production site Strmilov thus became the European production of Kores and its products are supplied worldwide. The extension of the Czech production line brought more than 30 new jobs to Strmilov. "We are proud that we managed to expand the production range in Strmilov and that we are now manufacturing exclusively for Kores in Europe", says Mag. Helmut Bruckner, managing director of Kores Prague. "The concentration means for our company more effective production and distribution, and in long term improved possibilities for innovation and development", adds Bruckner.

Kores established the production facility in Strmilov 1996 with 10 employed people. During 1997 the serial production of the first product types started and the number of employees rose to 90. Now, 10 years later, the gluestick production was moved from Spain to Czech Republic. Now, at the beginning of 2010, there are employed about 120 employees in Strmilov. If you include the other jobs directly related to Kores (domestic work, guard services, craftsmen ...) then it is obvious that the Kores clearly contributes to the economy in the region.
